As summer gives way to fall, the rivers can be viewed through a completely different perspective. A little crispness in the air. Sunlight lower on the horizon. Leaves changing color or falling off altogether. Join us for one or all of the 2018 Fall Paddling Series as we explore the Sugar, Kishwaukee, Rock, and Fox. If Mother Nature cooperates, there will be fantastic scenery. Here is a list of paddles for the upcoming fall season. Rivers should be down by then! FYI…..If we get inclement weather, you get a refund!
Oct 13: Paddle Trip: Sugar River
Oct 14: Paddle Trip: The Kish
It is important to note that during non-summer paddle trips you are expected to dress for the water temp not just the air temp. Avoid cotton and bring a spare set of dry clothing in a dry bag to change into should the need arise. Splash jackets/pants or rain jackets/pants and water booties are a good idea. For more information on what to wear or what not to wear, please give us a call at 815-636-9066 or 630-506-5706. We have a wide selection of cold weather paddling gear to choose from.
To sign up for one of our Fall Color experiences, please click on any of the above trips or visit our event page at http://www.rocktownadventures.com/events/. Hope to see you on the water!
